St. Nicholas Church - just below the castle, the plain facade belies the opulance that is inside. Needless
to say, my jaw was on the floor the entire time I was in this Baroque styled church.
The Jewish Ghetto - I only visited a part of the site, trying to figure out the rest was too confusing.
Unfortunately, no one can take pictures inside any of the buildings, so that only left me with the cemetery and this
picture of the Old/New Synagogue. There was a heart-wrenching exhibit on the drawings children made in Terezin camp during
WWII, about an hour outside of Prague.
St. Wencelas Square - the site of uprisings and protests during the 1960s when Czechs were fighting for their freedom.
The light patches on the National Museum are bullet holes fired by Russians. Two students are memorizaled for sacrificing
their lives (one burned himself to death) in protest.
