Cesky Krumlov

Picturesque Cesky Krumlov was achingly beautifully even in the dead of winter.  Most people come here during the warmer months and kayak down the river.  In January, I nearly had the town to myself; there were a few tourists around, but not too many.  I was even the only one in my hotel, a big creaky renovated house from the 1400s.

The castle at Cesky Krumlov was officially closed, but I could still walk around the grounds.  Click on the picture for more...
